I went out on a little chase yesterday in Southern Arizona.  I am not feeling like writing a huge diatribe on my every exact movement, I am feeling lazy and tired.  I apologize.  It is 113 outside, I just want to drink my wine and enjoy the photos.

South side of the I-10 in Marana.  I love farms and I love clouds.  There is something so calming and peaceful about plants growing in mass.

Some beautiful build up.  This gives one hope when out driving around looking for some fun.

The Saguaro Park West.  I was taking a new shortcut to Three Points.  It was a great place to take pictures.  I have been to this park numerous times.  Thirteen years ago, before I moved here,  I got stuck in a gully washer while hiking in SPW.  Scary but fabulous.

There aren’t any words…..

There are times when I am out there taking photos, not thinking they will be “good” or convey exactly what I was feeling and trying to capture.  This is as heavenly as a  glass of red wine from Portugal with a prosciutto wrapped,  dark chocolate covered caramel with sea salt.  I love this.

This is why I moved here….

I am learning to stay on the leading edge, one cannot take good pictures when she is in the rain.

I bet you a hundred bucks you didn’t think you would see another saguaro in this blog post….

I got a rainbow yesterday.  It is faint, but perfect….any rainbow I get I am thankful for.  Love my Daddy!

This was taken between Marana and Eloy on E. Park Link Drive.  Small storm, but peaceful to watch.  There wasn’t a soul or homestead around, with the exception of the random cow who kept mooing….I did not know cows roamed the desert.

The following are three G rated videos I took yesterday of lightning associated with this storm.

And then there is this little gem.  I love trains.  I stopped on a dime to get out of my car, barefoot, and wave like a crazy woman to get him to blow his horn.

 ”Howdy Doody!”

XOXOXOX’s

There’s something about hearing thunder in the unoccupied desert that I absolutely *LOVE*. It keeps me coming back for more… even if I fail three times in a row :-P
